Present tense and future tense often are the basic forms for other tenses in Georgian:
The following tenses are usually formed from the present tense:
The imperfect (or the past continuous tense), conjunctive, and future tense forms.
Future tense form, in turn, is a basic form for the conditional and the conjunctive future tenses,
and also for the aorist (the past completed tense, or the past indefinite tense).
